My current role is Partner-Director for Conecta Consultores de Tecnologia y Gestión, Consulting firm with offices in Madrid, Bilbao and Zaragoza with more than 100 employees. Conecta is Microsoft Gold partner and specialised in Microsoft Dynamics AX (Axapta), NAV(Navision) and CRM implmementations.
and main experience is International Delivery and Implementation Project Manager specialized in ERPs and Finance Shared Service Centers. I am currently developing such role working as a Business and Systems Freelance Consultant;
Previously I worked in Marsh after implementing Oracle Financials in Marsh-UK as a Deloitte Consulting Consultant. Since then I was mainly involved in the Oracle Financials’ European Rollouts both in the UK and in the European countries. From Sept 2003 as the Oracle Financials’ Rollout strategy changed (leading to a Finance Service Center approach), my role changed to European Rollout Delivery Manager/Project Manager.
Previously to Marsh, I worked in Deloitte Consulting, mainly involved in ERP’s implementations, as Oracle Financials and People Soft in Financial services, Manufacturing and Telecommunications companies both in Spain and abroad, at Ernst & Young as SAP R/3, PeopleSoft and Oracle Financials Consultant and at Ceinsa as ERP’s department Responsible and Project leader.

2002 - 2006* MARSH S.A (Financial Services), Shared Service Center Europe Rollout Project Manager: Oracle Financials 11i (UK, Ireland, Netherlands, Denmark, Sweden, Norway, Finland, Germany, Portugal, Spain)
o Role: Lead the European Rollout and Configuration Management for the Shared Service Center with Oracle Financials implementation (General Ledger, Accounts Payables, Automatic Invoice Processing, iExpenses, Fixed Assets, Management Reporting(Discoverer, Web Reporting, Oracle Custom Reports)
Description of the job
- Assist on the Business Processes Reengineering and Process Design Architecture for the UK and Hungary to become a Finance Service Center (FSC).
- Build and manage the Europe Rollout Project Plan to implement Oracle Financials and include Ireland Netherlands and Denmark in the Finance Service Center in Witham (UK), and in a 2nd phase, Sweden, Norway, Finland, Germany, Portugal and Spain in the Finance Service Center in Budapest.
- Responsible of the European Project Team and coordinating with the rest of the teams: EMEA Technical/Developers, US Technical/Developers, EMEA DBAs, US DBAs, US Support team, US Functional, LatinAmerica Functional and Asia Functional teams.
- Responsible for: reviewing & updating the project plan, and assist on coordination of activities of the Programme Plan, raising risks, issues and change requests when required during the project, ensuring the accuracy of the deliverables, chasing and confirming SignOffs, reviewing the setups, coordinating training to end users and FSC users, ensuring and coordinating the testing within the countries, FSC and within the support team, reviewing and approving all deliverables of the project, coordinating and ensuring accuracy of Reporting tools and Reporting Packs.
- Responsible to manage the budget (including over 12 staff members plus consultants) of the team, coordinate European milestones and deadlines with Global Stakeholders in Global calendar since working on a Single Instance.
- Reporting to the EMEA Programme Director.

- Substitution of the Project Leader in a project where the reengineering was already completed.
- Responsible of the Consultant’s team for the system set-up and testing, interface’s (3 financial, 5 management accounting) testing and integration with the forestall system.
- Responsible for all the Companies homogenization (2 in the North of Spain and 1 in the South).

- Analysis of UK client requirements, process reengineering and design of the proposed solution for Account Payables and VAT.
- Detailed analysis of UK client requirements, system set-up and testing, definition of interfaces with external systems for AP, testing and validation of interface performance, design, testing and validation of additional developments (Reports), design, testing and validation of data conversion programs, training to end-users, development of end-user documentation, etc.

Description of the job
- Reengineering, new processes design, implementation and end users support of People Payables and Purchasing in a large telecommunication international corporation.
- The implementation included Financial modules (General Ledger, Payables), Fixed Assets and Purchasing with the main objective to homogenize all the Iberian processes and different group companies (3 companies in Spain, 1 in UK and 1 in Portugal)

Description of the job
- Analysis, re-design and homogenization of the work processes within a large automotive corporation for implementing, Oracle Financials R11 (4 plants in 2 countries during 14 months).
- The pilot implementation (one plant in Madrid) only included Oracle Financials without integrations with external systems. The main responsibility was to implement AP, prepare end-user documentation, reports and give end-user training.
- The rest of the implementation was made in a totally integrated system (finance, logistics, and manufacturing). The main responsibility was to implement AP, prepare end-user documentation and give end-user training. The project also included on-site support for Oracle Account Payables in the post-implementation phase.
1997 - 1998I performed Head of Department activities and at the same time, as Project Leader I worked in the following project:
