One template for two business lines (Body Care & Coffee & Tea), including Manufacturing units and Marketing and Sales units from more than 20 countries, requires a strict analysis of global solutions because a template change affects all companies. The same analysis must be done when a local legal requirement must not affect other companies.

For corrective maintenance Sara LEE externalized all developments to an external supplier (ASP-India). BAS members are coordinating business requirements between business structure (BPO -Business Process Owner- and KU -key users) and the external service provider. After the analysis and estimation steps, BAS is approving the cost following company rules.
