I moved to Sitges, near Barcelona in Spain in September 2002 with my children having just left Regus Business Centres in London, where I had been working as a Business Development Manager for the previous 5 years. As I'd retrained as an English teacher before the move, I found work in a local language academy and taught children and adults English as a foreign language. My Spanish was almost non-existent when I first arrived, but as it radically improved, I found work in a local estate agency and gained valuable knowledge about the property market and made lots of contacts. My clients actually suggested that I start my own business as a Relocations Consultant and in doing so, I feel that I have found my vocation as it brings together all of my previous experience in providing excellent customer service, business development, contract negoctiation, the property market and, of course, my own experiences in moving to and settling into another country. I am now interested in making more contacts, finding collaborators and generating new business. Please feel free to contact me!
Me mudé a Sitges, Barcelona en septiembre del 2002 con mis hijas desde Londes, donde trabajaba para Regus Business Centres durante los 5 años anteriores. Antrs de venir, hicé la formación de profesora de inglés y después de llegar, encontré trabajo en un academia de idiomas en Sitges y enseñaba niños y adultos el inglés. Llegué con muy poco español pero como mejoré muy rapidamente, encontré trabajo en una inmobiliaria y lo aproveché para ganarme experienca del mercado de propiedades y aprender mucho sobre los contratos de venta tanto como los contratos de alquiler. Fueron mis clinetes que me sugieron empezar mi propio negocio y, después de llevarlo a cabo, estoy muy contenta como es una oportunidad utilizar eficazmente todo la experiencía ganado anteriormente, tanto en lo personal como en lo profesional. Relocate and Go es una empresa de "relocations" para ayudar a qualquiera que quiere venir y vivir en Barcelona, Cataluña. Mi zona especializada es Sitges y los alredadores. Ofrezco servicios de busqueda de propiedades (en alquiler o venta), busquedas de plazas en colegio/guardaría para niños, ayuda con los tramites de residencía y orientación cultural y local de la zona y clubs de negocios y contactos de Networking.
1997 - 2002I was responsible for sales and customer relationship management in the centres in Canary Wharf and the City of London. After qualifying as a Regus Coach, I also assisted with the training of new commercial staff, being their mentor during their induction period. I played a key role in maintaining high occupancy levels and therefore profitability in the above centres. In the final months was there, I helped the area of London save over a million pounds in developing and maintaining exisiting client relationships and renewing contracts.
