Faurecia develops and manufactures components for the automotive industry around the world. We design, develop and manufacture our products from anywhere to anywhere.

The main challenge for CAD infrastructure is interoperativity. For an Automiotive tier 1 with more than 15 customers and 3 different CAD systems (Catia v5, UG and IDEAS), we need to assure that each standard and methods are respected. Our highly multidisciplinary resources and a qualified team that provides CAD support is key. We work constantly in the research for optimal CAD set ups, in order to assure state-of-the-art customer communication.
