I'm a Pharmacist-Researcher in Chemeomtrics. At present I work in QbD and PAT initiative implementation in the pharmaceutical industry in Barcelona, Spain. Activities involve the plannification of experiments and QbD strategy and the data analysis and chemometrics activities that are required to develop and implement these techniques in routine.
My formation enables me also to work in a development and research laboratory (R&D), in order to take part and to contribute actively to the improvement and the optimization of the processes.
I'm a dynamic, rigorous and autonomous person, I have a great capacity of adaptation, and a strong sense of responsibility. My personal experience and stays abroad have allowed me to develop my relational capacity to integrate a team easily. I speak Spanish, English and French. I have a basic speech and strong understanding in Catalan and I have also a good understanding of portuguese and italian.

I am currently in the Professor Marcelo Blanco's Research group (Applied Chemometrics Research Group). I am working in the implementation of Quality-by-Design (QbD) and Process Analytical Technology (PAT) initiatives in the pharmaceutical industry by using Near Infrared spectroscopy (NIR).
The main Activities of my current position are:
* Consulting activities in the development of chemometric methods, i.e. the implementation of qualitative and quantitative NIR methods for pharmaceutical laboratories in Barcelona, Spain.
* Teaching activities as Assistant Professor in Analytical Chemistry, Department of Chemistry, Sciences Faculty, Universitat Autónoma de Barcelona, Spain
* Current PhD candidate in chemometrics
* Chemical Image Processing Techniques
* Quality-by-Design (Q8, Q9 &Q10 ICH) & PAT
* Planning of experiments in QbD and PAT projects
* Development of new methods of control on, in and at-line

2012 - 2012- I am carrying out a research stay of three months in the Professor Thomas De Beer's Research group (Laboratory of Pharmaceutical Process Analytical Technology).
- Research subject: In-line and real-time process monitoring of a Freeze Drying by using vibrational spectroscopy. An approach based on Process Analytical Technologies (PAT).
2010 - 2010- I carried out a research stay of three months in Quality & Technology Group under the supervision of Dr. José Manuel Amigo Rubio.
- Research subject: Comparative study of different image processing techniques for assessing the homogeneity of the final blending in pharmaceutical products
- Hyperspectral Imaging in Pharmaceutical research.
2007 - 2008I have worked in Process Analytical Technology (PAT) project implementation, especially in multivariate data analysis for identifying and evaluating new technologies of measurement in processes.

* Analysis of spectroscopy data (NIR, UV-visible)

* Analysis of granulometric and turbidity data
